Textbook Management is an asset management system geared towards textbooks. Textbook Management tracks textbooks throughout the life-cycle of the textbook. From the order placement of the textbook, through the addition into inventory, to checking-out the textbook to a student, all the way to the collection of the textbook back from a student, Textbook Management is a full life-cycle product.
Using unique bar-coded labels for each textbook the system provides the ability to easily and efficiently track each textbook.
Textbook Management has the unique capability to be used as a site based or district based system. You can receive textbooks into the district, assign them to an individual school and then to a student. Textbooks can be moved between schools always maintaining their history. When textbooks are retired or destroyed they can simply be deactivated within the system.
Fines can be tracked and assessed automatically or at anytime. All fines are assigned to a student. Textbook conditions can be married to values and depreciation.
Textbook Management can be used for other assets other then textbooks. Textbook Management can be utilized to track AV equipment, computers, projectors or any items you wish to track. Just like all other Access411 products, Textbook Management comes complete with many “canned” reports and offers the Access411 unique User Report writer.
